MEETING – will be be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 7 pm at the Hall.
Happy Holidays from everyone at the Sumner/Bonney Lake VFW Post 3070. We hope to return to our regularly scheduled meetings and events. We will do our best to kept everyone informed.
Our Post delivered Christmas cards to the Orting Soldier’s Home residents on December 1st. Each month the Nursing Care residents receive a personalized birthday card.
Thank you to the Sumner McLendon’s Store for hosting a Poppy Sale on Saturday, November 13th. Tammie Burke, manager, and her staff were welcoming and helpful. A pair of mystery seamstresses donated face masks made from fabric representing all 5 U.S. services – a great way to start a conversation.
